Your first month at MF, and the attendance goal that actually works
By Hunter Wood, Owner & Head Coach
Draft adapted from Hunter's welcome emails, for his review

The hardest thing about fitness isn't the workouts. It's habit forming and motivation. So your first assignment at MF has nothing to do with barbells: come to three classes a week, every week, for one month. That's it.
Why three? Because three is enough to build the habit without wrecking a body that isn't used to training yet. You will be sore. That's normal and it fades. What matters in month one is that showing up stops being a decision and starts being a default.
Then work toward the sweet spot
Once the habit sticks, 4 to 6 days per week is the sweet spot. Commit to that range and you will be the fittest, strongest, and healthiest you've ever been. Honest coaching moment: at less than 4 days per week your progress will be limited and slow. We'd rather tell you that now than let you wonder in six months why the needle isn't moving.
What to expect along the way
- Week 1: everything is new, everything is sore. Scale everything; that's the point.
- Weeks 2 and 3: movements start to feel familiar. You know where the jump ropes live. People know your name.
- Week 4: the workout that crushed you in week 1 shows up again and you handle it. Little wins become big wins.
If anything feels off at any point, talk to a coach. That's what we're on the floor for. See you on the mats.
